@jdembowski Yeah, the title on this one almost made me pass over the plugin. I ended up reading both pages, but normally I would not have and neither would anyone else. People see “Hacked!!” and then that top description and move onto the next option for their needs.
Only reason I read it was due to my being curious of the 5 star rating for that title and message. If I had anything going on today like 363 days of most years, never would have taken the time.
Please, let them change the title or remove the post entirely. This is a good product with a great and communicative developer and it’s being seriously held back by… well, your hasty and apparently triggered judgement.

In reply to: Unable to upload imagesMy issue turned out to be ModSecurity misconfiguration. Sorry, I don’t have more info on tat. DH Support just got back to me that they have corrected it. Suggestion would be to hit up your hosting to check on it. Good luck.

In reply to: Unable to upload images@azaozz was doing it in the media library. Did it again, followed link and did see “The link you followed has expired.” on otherwise empty screen.
I started having issues with this site 2 days ago, before the update to 5.3. was released. At 5.2.4 image upload resulted in “Http Error”. I increased increased WP_MEMORY_LIMIT, WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT, and max_upload_size. etc.. in php.ini ( phprc specifically because this is @ Dreamhost) wp-config, and htaccess. None worked. Figured I might get a PFM fix with the 5.3 update, but alas, nope. Same result to media upload, but different error.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Subscribe Button renders a blank calendarNote, I just noticed that the resulting calendar is coming in without encryption. It lists the calendar in the screen shot I shared as https://desert… How would one edit that to https://
This is most likely the cause of the empty calendar…
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Subscribe Button renders a blank calendarThank you. I tried your suggestion, but I think I may have explained the problem poorly. The problem is not importing events from Google calendar. It is that when someone clicks the subscribe button at the bottom of the calendar, regardless which option they choose: add to Google, etc. They end up only adding an empty calendar to their service. The top link below is a screen capture of the calendar and subscribe options . The second is a screen capture of the resulting imported calendar.

I’ve double checked permissions and everything in the calendar is set to public, it just wont share anything with a subscriber. Thank you for your help.
How does one change the default author of events imported from Google Calendar using “My feeds”. I am hosted at WPengine and the plugin is showing their tech account as the author of all imported events. I can change them after the fact, but I would rather not have to.
I wish I could, but it is a live site with no dev or non production instance to work with and event going on today, so hence the direct to annoying you with questions question.
The error seems to be fairly common for this plugin so is there any commonality in the conflicts. Basically what I was wondering was what was the conflict with the theme. What coding in the theme blocked what part of the function?Any insight would help. thanks.

In reply to: [MailChimp Forms by MailMunch] Adding subscriber count to Mailmunch formsThank you, Liz. It would appear that you may have misread the question. I don’t want to move subscribers to MailMunch or have a comprehensive list of subscribers there. I would simply like to add the sign up count to the sign up form, like this- “7,000 have joined already. Why haven’t you?” and have the number dynamically render from the sign up count. It is a common feature on many sites. I was curious if MM had anything similar. I think the gain might be keeping up with the bells and whistles of the competition, but thanks for your time.

In reply to: [WP Performance Pack] All Images broken when un-installingTried to use the “restore static links” option and that did not work. Also deactivated and subsequently removed the program and the wpppdynamic still writes itself into the image urls. Any other suggestions? It would have been nice to know that this plugin completely breaks a site, prior to installing it.
