I am using version 3.0.12 on a danish blog.
I have:
Blog language da-DK
MySQL Client encoding uft8_danish
Blog charset UTF-8And I am getting the error:
ERROR: Cannot set DB charset to uft8_danishNo database dump is added to the backup…
What can I do?
Thanks,
AndersIt’s a warning message and it is not a source of concern.

You can ask your ISP support where to find it…

In reply to: [WP Login Security 2] Not Validating my own IPWordPress has an error log file (unless you have turned off error logging.
The name of the log file is configurable, but normally it is called error_log.
Have a look at which files have recently been changed in your WordPress folder and the wp-admin folder…
Have you tried logging on from a different location (i.e. a different internet connection)?

In reply to: [WP Login Security 2] Not Validating my own IPSounds very odd… I have sites running with both W3TC+Cloudflare and Jetpack wihout problems, so I doubt those plugins would cause a conflict.
Could you please post any errors you see in your log file?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC 0.9.2.8 Killed My BackendHi Willie,
Is there a new version on the way which solves this problem?
I have held off updating a number of my sites partly because of the manual intervention required to upgrade successfully partly because I was hoping for a quick release of a version which fixes this problem and didn’t want to update all my sites twice…
However if you’re not planning a new release any time soon I’ll continue with the rest of my sites…
Thanks ??

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC 0.9.2.8 Killed My BackendThanks for that tip… solved the problem for me…
Just to be clear:
1. Comment out line 127 in activation.php
2. Your dashboard comes back – deactivate W3TC
3. Remove the comments for line 127 so it is active again
4. Activate W3TC and you are back in business@jorge: This would indicate your php.ini file has
display_errors = On
For security reasons you should turn display errors off:
display_errors = Off
See this article for more information on the recommended settings for your php.ini file: https://www.wpsecuritychecklist.com/securing-php/
@anup: The plugin has not been tested in a multi site environment. Your experience could indicate that it does not work in multi site.
I’ve still got FB, G+1, LinkedIn and Stumble Upon… but tweet’s still gone…
I’m not using Pin
