I just found the information that this option is not supported by umami v2 and should be removed in one of the next releases.
If you are using umami v1 this option does not affect the visitor′s data just the performance of the script by caching the user data. You will still get 100% of the data either way.

I found the issue which was related to the automated build process.
It removed the required autoloader when uploaded to svn, this should be fixed now and the plugin should now work again.
