you can do this by adding extra CSS to the Custom CSS option inside the Customizer:

You can use some CSS to make the content “narrower” like:
@media screen and (min-width: 80em)

width: 960px;
}
}
You can add this inside the Custom CSS.

Inside the sidebar you can drag and drop widgets on your own.
I’ll add more description about widgets inside the help files in the next period and will add the .wie file for download if you want to import widgets from our demo to your website, if this will help.

thanks for using this theme.
Unfortunately this isn’t something to fix as this is how theme is done, on the smaller devices the menu is as a hamburger menu for a better user performance on smaller devices.
If you need to make it different you can google about it and create your own one. There are plenty free tutorials. You can use also Jetpack mobile theme if you don’t like how the theme works on the smaller devices.

You need to add content for the static page, top part is featured image with the title and content and content under is featured page you can choose from the customizer.

thanks for using this theme.
This isn’t a bug, left part is the menu with the sidebar and it has own background. Right part is the content part and uses background color or background image from the customizer. You can see this inside the live demo, left part with the menu and sidebar has one color and right part other one.

I saw you wrote the review because of this but this isn’t a bug. This is how theme layout is divided, left part with one background and right part with other.
