Lets see what do you need to install wp-filemanager

1) Administrative access to wordpress
2) write access to file system by web server

Frankly with both these access if an attacker is installing wp-filemanager to edit files i feel pity on the attacking skills of the person. If you have both above listed access you would mostly also have edit theme & plugins files access and should be able to edit theme directly and put exploit code.

If you were a victim please ensure your username and passwords are complex enough to be be easy to guess.

Once you know the direct url for the PDF you can link using URL link directly.

the plugin doesn’t provides you an option to add content to post’s.

if you are looking at option to add pdf to posts or page i would suggest using media manager or media option in wordpress itself.

This is something which would require considerable efforts and i don’t find time to spend on this feature.

however i am open to patches if you or someone deployes a patch i would be interested in pushing it to the code.

ovann86, yes debug mode has a lot of error’s printed out and i do not recommend that setting for production.

Next release whenever i will make i will try to reduce the error’s but due to the current work pressure i can’t commit on a date of next release.

Looks like ninja-forms and wp-filemanager has some conflict only one can be used at any one point. I will try to find what’s causing this and resolve it at my end but expect a delay in new release as i am heavily tied up with other priority task’s.

Hi to add correct icon you need to place icon at following location

wp-filemanager/icons/

if you want to add .torrent icon then the filename should be torrent.gif

Thanks for the suggestion, i will add this to list for next release. Not exactly sure when but its on the cards to be out.

PHP notice can be ignored also at production your php error should be set to disable. however i have noted the error location will try and sort this out in next release so that you don’t see this warning at all.

at this point we do not provide this facility.

Hi We have never released a version 2.75 i suppose you mistook the plugin.

if it is indeed the correct plugin the latest version is 1.4.0.

No we do not have capabilities to edit non ascii files.

at this point the edit functionality allows for text editing and that’s it.
