In reply to: [WP-PostRatings] Rich SnippetsWell, when I google certain books it still pops up. I know it takes a while for Google to index sites, but it’s been over a week now. Try googling “winning selling tim ussher” and you’ll see a star rating completely unrelated to the book itself on the author’s profile. I believe the data is being retrieved from books that appear randomly on the sidebar, but I can’t be sure.
Thanks for looking into this.

In reply to: [WP-PostRatings] Rich SnippetsHi Lester thanks for your reply. I would like to disable the snippets, but that doesn’t appear to be working. Is this a glitch in the system?

In reply to: Inserting shortcodes into formsThanks for the response. Unfortunately, this shortcode is generated by a plugin and I use it widely, so I absolutely cannot change the output. However, I suppose I could create a NEW shortcode that would output {value=”[wpv-current-user]”}… or would that still output the way it reads now, and just layer the problem without solving it?
Well, I deactivated all plugins and themes and let it sit overnight and the problem mysteriously disappeared on reactivation. I’m sure I’m missing something here, but I suppose the detective work will have to resume when the bug shows up again.
Thanks,
-AmyWell, I suppose hiding .active won’t work because it hides OTHER active classes, like ones used in the menu bar. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case.
More assistance would be greatly appreciated! I will be happy to provide screenshots, etc.

Well, I tried disabling all plugins and child themes, but the problem still exists. I even went so far as to delete the plugin and clear the database from the PM Pro settings, so there would be no “ghost” levels for the plugin to see. This reduced the number of ghost levels but did not get rid of it completely. It should be noted that this only shows up when a paying member is subscribed, and checks out their subscription options.
For now, I’ve gotten around the problem by simply hiding the .active css class with display:none; This seems like a wonky workaround, though, and I would still like to resolve the issue.

That’s a fantastic resource, thank you! I have plenty of things to check out, but I don’t believe it will help me in fixing the problem with PM Pro plugin.

In reply to: Display array within the_author_meta: author.phpI was hoping it would be a simple issue of my own ignorance in how to display an array, not a User Meta issue. But I’ve posted in User Meta Pro forums as well. Thanks.
