I went to the site and both the comment link and the link to the title of the post worked fine for me.

Maybe try it again? Scroll down when you try it, too. It might look like it’s on the front page but the page really is different–it’s just that the design stays the same. But if you go to the bottom of the post it will look different.

Well, I’m not sure what happened, but I went back and looked again (for about the third time) and this time the four posts from yesterday were in all the places they should be (main page, categories, archives, admin panel).

However, today’s post wasn’t anywhere.

So I reposted it, and now all is normal.

Very weird. If you have any comments on this, I’d appreciate them.

Do you mean that on your blog you’d like your user name deleted or changed? Or in this forum?

I think in both cases you would have to do it yourself.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in my account, so I’m afraid I can’t give you any more specific instructions.

I had the same problem but I’ve resolved it. What I found I had to do was to add a height and width tag for my image and I had to make the image fairly narrow.

Here’s the code I used:

I’ve made up a silly path name, but it’s the width and height tags that are important. I found that 400 for the width tag worked well, but then I have a 14″ screen; it may be that 450 would have worked fine, but I just couldn’t see it here at home.

I checked my file permissions and they were all as I had left them originally (back when I was able to make changes).

I didn’t resolve this issue, exactly, but I uninstalled and re-installed WordPress and that cleared up the problems.

I still don’t know what caused them, though, and I’d like to know in case it happens again.

I really was using WordPress! I was importing from Blogger.

So assuming that everything is tickety-boo with my second blog, what do I do if there’s a problem with my archives? What file would I go to?

I suspect now that I may have needed to change the css in two places on the theme (the stylesheet and somewhere else).

However, I ultimately switched to another theme.

I figured out this problem (eventually). I had to go to my server and change the permissions to the appropriate files.
