Hello,
I am having the exact same issue as described by @wedl.
The events allowed in an event calendar are limited to 500, whether I create an event calendar or just make one with shortcode in a page, and regardless of the event list limit in SportsPress/Settings/Events. Though there are more events I want to be displayed, it cuts off at the 500th event, and the wp-admin shows 500 events even though there should be more. Event lists from last year which I used frequently and had 1500+ events now show up as only having 500 events. The last time I’d used SportsPress was in March 2016. I realize why such a limitation would be put in place for performance purposes, but we have only ever used these very large lists internally and they are quite important to us.Is there any way to bypass the 500 event limit?
We have a Club license for our site, please let me know if there’s a more appropriate avenue for reaching out for help on this. ??
@brian Thank you. In the meantime I’ve added
date_default_timezone_set("America/New_York");
to sportspress.php to fix the issue until the updateEdit: added location of code insertion
Problem still not resolved. I have confirmed I am editing the correct php.ini file. Everything else on my site seems to be using New York time except SportsPress.
After 7 p.m. EST, the following event list calendar flips over to show the next day’s games: https://basketballnight.com/calendar/todays-games/ . This is what I’m trying to fix.

Changed max_input_vars from 1,000 to 500,000 temporarily to allow for the massive import.
Resolved.
FWIW, the 22nd event is only partially being imported… the date, time and venue come across, but only the first team imports. Nothing past that.
Hi @themeboy,
I’m also interested in the feature requested above. I’m developing a SportsPress site with a few hundred teams and would like an option in the Teams editor to show that team’s event list(s) without having to individually create an event list for each individual team and embed each shortcode(s) into each team page.I hope you’re still considering this for inclusion in a future update.
Thank you!
