Hi Emre,

We just kept “Cache System” on. It hasn’t helped. Does this work for multi-site installation. We have disabled it because it was giving too many issues. Site was not showing up – kept giving “This Page isn’t working” to my colleagues. Image is attached – https://i.imgur.com/p3YUGhK.png

It’s erratic. It also gave me these errors but is not doing that now. I can give you admin access if you want to check anything as its our staging setup.

It worked but can you correct this issue permanently in your next version of theme so that it works correctly on other sites where we plan to use this theme and on upgrades.

I just checked, if I reduce the menu items to about seven the Search Widget and primary menu shift upwards opposite the logo, site title and tagline. You can check the site now. They are fitting well and using the empty space on the right of logo and site title. I removed a menu element and the layout changed. It can help you resolve the issue with longer menus.

Can somebody from WordPress respond? I am definite this doesn’t work. Every change that I am doing is increasing the Revision number despite the setting.

I created a new page while this setting was ON and it shows two revisions. I have other page(s) where every time I have Saved or Published a revision has been created and this happened yesterday, at least five times. I don’t understand your statement about “autosave” – are you trying to tell me autosave WILL create a revision, whatever settings I might have?

@devnihil Ok, we found it. We were all the time looking at Yoast settings (Dashboard etc) for the option. This is in the Plugins list and is available for all plugins. So, this is an option provided by WordPress itself. Didn’t realize it was an option for each plugin.

We didn’t use this option, does that mean Yoast automatically activated itself for all subsites, is it?

Yes @maybellyne we logged in as Network Admin and activated it. I think that is why it’s active for all sub-sites.

We installed it only on the root domain and activated it. I don’t remember seeing a “network-activate” option. If it was there, shouldn’t it be visible now also.

I have sent you a mail Pierre. It took some time to assimilate everything as we are in the middle of some major changes.

Hi Pierre,

A few points:
– We don’t use API per se, we have used mu-plugin (by WordPress) to install each domain. This plugin helps us to support multiple sites.

– The most important info I want to share with you is that after we installed Traffic plugin all our subsites except for primary stopped working. You must help us investigate this. We cannot have any of the sites down. So we have disabled it right now. Kindly suggest a solution. We can provide you credentials etc.

– We have used DNS “A” records to configure the subsites to point to our web server IP. Does that suit your plugin?

– We didn’t see any of our subsites even after a few hours on Traffic plugin although they were showing traffic on Google Analytics.

– FYI, our current focus is on Inbound traffic. There is nothing we found which will tell us how much traffic is coming on each of our subsites. Will Traffic help us find this?

Thanks for your prompt response. I understand your point – you don’t want us to name a news item as “news”. The portion before that can be news, which by default is anyway “news” in all your permalinks. Correct me if I am wrong.

I still have the 404 issue with each news item. The site is lawgate.in. See the two columns with News (and Forum) at the bottom of the screen.
