In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] Create account? It is the user who decides to proceed with the “external service calls” (call to cartimize.com to create their account) or not. I think that would constitute explicit user permission. So I think we fulfil that requirement.

In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] Requires subscriptionThanks for your reply. You are actually not subscribing to anything. Neither do we send any emails to you nor do we share any of your data. Both of these require your explicit permission and action.
I’m trying to understand your concern here. Would you be comfortable sharing your email if it’s a premium plugin? If it’s a privacy concern, how is it tied to the plugin being free or paid? Or do you only use premium plugins that offer license keys instead of asking you to create an account? A lot of premium plugins now require you to create an account. Please help me understand.
As I already said, if not for that account creation, you’ll have to create multiple accounts with our feedback management platform, community platform and anything else we might integrate in the future to make your experience better. With the SSO, you won’t have to do this.
I’m sorry that you feel this is more important than the smoother checkout experience, the improved conversion and, in turn, the increased revenue for your stores.
I wish I can disable it to allow you to try out the plugin. But I want to deliver a kind of customer service and user experience for my customers. And it needs the SSO login.

In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] When can I expect Pro Version?Hello @frankie1221. I expect the Pro plugin to be ready in about a month. You can let me know which Pro features excite you here – https://www.questionpro.com/t/ASAmwZkwG0
I’ll try to prioritise the first version according to your needs.Yes. We have plans of releasing a field customization module as part of the free plugin itself. But I don’t have a definite timeline yet.

In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] Requires subscriptionI’m sorry that the account creation requirement of the plugin has garnered your 1-star rating. Please note that none of your data is being shared until you explicitly give permission.
If only this was for something regarding the functionality of the plugin, I’ll be able to take some action to make your experience better.
I assume that you did not create your account and hence haven’t tried out our checkout. This saddens me and I wish you would experience the actual product before deciding that the 100x better checkout experience for your customers is less important than having to create an account.

In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] Create account?Oh. I wasn’t aware of this. Thanks a lot for letting me know. I’ll make the necessary changes and get explicit user permission to display it.
I was not able to find anything regarding the account creation requirement being a violation of requirements. If you have an idea about this, please let me know. It’ll help me improve the plugin.

In reply to: [Linear Checkout for WooCommerce by Cartimize] Create account?Hello @gresakg. I’m sorry that’s not possible. We have made this way to give you a seamless experience across the feedback forum, support system and the soon-to-be-released community platform. You’ll also use this account for licensing purposes of the Pro plugin. A single account for everything Cartimize.

Can you explain what happens when we click on the button to ‘Choose Branch’? Should it be displayed in the list of available shipping methods? Please explain in detail.
