I had to disable Open Graph tags from Yoast and then it worked with Facebook. However with G+ the same problem continues. Right now, I have unchecked Add Google+ specific post meta data in Social/ SEO by Yoast.
Try posting this link on FB: https://wp.me/p5ymoT-pJ The featured image doesn’t shows up and the FB Debugger tells me ‘og_type’ is not present. I don’t know how to fix that for the specified post. This happens for the share on G+ as well.
