I am assuming there is. Because all the files from the computer were backed up a few days before the crash. But I don’t know where exactly to look for it. Which folder would have that?

Ok, just overwriting the wp-content folder from the backup does not seem to work.

Where are the two files that Duplicator creates supposed to be put on the new machine?

On the new machine,
Wordpress has been downloaded
MAMP working
New database file created

Just don’t know where to paste the Duplicator files (installer and archive).

Solved. Thank you. I deleted the folders of the last two plugins I had installed, and that did the trick.

Thank you. Where can I find the plug-in folder? Also, that does not solve the main problem that the page itself is unresponsive. Could it be because of some plugin I installed? Not even re-installing WordPress is having any effect.

Managed to resolve 1 by using FSM Custom Featured Image Caption plug-in. 2 remains unresolved, since I am unable to make changes to PHP codes on my own. Will try though, with online help. Welcome and appreciate any help from people here. 3 resolved as per your suggestion, but only partially. For some reason, padding-top seems to work but changes in padding-bottom does not induce any change. Is it because there is no padding at the bottom, or could there be any other reason.
