Of course background is scrolling when you set it to scroll:

You must set it to be fixed:

ummm… you should say what’s the name of the theme, at least.

i’m not much of a coder, but this makes no sense, .jpg being just before bracket, and not together with

echo “/images/headev”;

shouldn’t it be echo “/images/headev.jpg”;

Well, there you go:

1st – You must have installed content-gallery plugin!
If you don’t, install it. It comes with the theme.

2.nd and most important – when writing post you must add NEW CATEGORY – which you must name

featuredtop

Then and only then it should work.

For other categories, there is folder under this theme called xml: there is lifestyle.xml file.
If you open it with notepad++ or some other text editor it shall list all of available categories.
You might try to rename them, or try add your own categories, when writing posts, and sorting posts in that categories you named yourself.

how do you mean it defaulted back 2 original code?
where are you hosting your blog, on some hosting service or on www.remarpro.com?

if on www.remarpro.com i’m not sure if they keep your settings or switch to default.

anyway, for everything you need to change you need to know basic .CSS
– look in .css file of theme and there you can play with colors, fonts and other things

I belive this forum can be helpfull. You can also try use Google search.

If you use Firefox install extension called CSS viewer. It can help you a lot in knowing
which element of page you are seeing, and its properties.

If you don’t use Firefox – well – you should use Firefox. Sometimes It’s more than just a web browser.

And if you have any specific questions like what to change, where to look, just ask. Someone will surely help you.

you should go to https://www.revolutiontwo.com and see another wordpress theme which is very similar to tvelements called RevolutionTV, download it and check source code for educational purposes. Author is the same. He does very cool work.

Premium themes usually are paid so they can’t be offered for download here in wordpress. However, there are some new news ahead, and you can easily download some of premium themes for free on revolutiontwo.com
or check some of them on themeforest.net

Premium themes usually look good and have extended functionality.
For example, you can add pictures in posts, and theme is widget aware.
They can also have some kind of javascript in themself and that makes them cooler.

if you don’t want default theme, just delete it. wordpress can work without it.

you can also after that rename that theme to default, but I don’t think that’s necessary.
