In reply to: Theme editor ignoring 755 permissions – can't editI realize that – I can’t edit them from the wp-admin/network area – it still says the bit about the codex, like the permissions aren’t right.
Any ideas?

In reply to: CSS Problem – background img covered by div in IE8 onlyOkay, I fixed the problem with content-wrapper by adding display:inline-block; however I am still having an issue with the footer. I added display:inline-block but that did not solve it. Any ideas?

In reply to: CSS Problem – background img covered by div in IE8 onlyalcymyth,
Thanks for the reply. I don’t think #content is causing the problem because that div closes, then the sidebar opens. Since the background is “covered” down until after the footer, I can only assume it’s #content-wrapper, since that wraps around the entire middle section. What do you think?

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] how to upgrade TO 2.7@rowoot I could not get anything to work, I had my friend log into my FTP and also look at my database, he is an expert in PHP and could not find anything that appeared out of the ordinary. No error logs were generated.
I finally decided to start over with a fresh database. I was able to retain my stylesheet and the content of the posts. How annoying. It caused me several hours of work.

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] how to upgrade TO 2.7@rowoot I don’t know. I would be willing to do a manual database backup and do a fresh install of 2.7, then restore the posts & comments, but I don’t know if that will work or if the plugin has screwed it up.
Can anyone help? If I go do a manual database backup now and do a fresh install of WP, will I be able to restore all the pages & posts?

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] how to upgrade TO 2.7Today, I installed the WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin on a client’s site. Activated it, then clicked on “Click Here to Automatically Upgrade WordPress to latest Version.”
It asked me for my FTP credentials which I entered. It then said we were good to go. I clicked to begin the upgrade and from there on out, every single page goes to a 404 Page Not Found error.
I tried clicking on plugins to deactivate it, get the 404. Even trying to go to the WP dashboard gets a 404.
I can click through all the pages on the actual site just fine, but my admin panel is absolutely messed up.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you!
