I think I figured out the reason. I am using Really Simple SSL on amardeepsidhu.com/blog and this option was enabled in settings:

Enable 301 .htaccess redirect

After disabling this, it seems to work.

Actually amardeepsidhu.com & amardeepsidhu.com/blog are two separate WordPress installations. The versions you mentioned were on amardeepsidhu.com. I have updated everything there. The issue is with posts on amardeepsidhu.com/blog where everything is already up to date.

Well, I think that exact thing is not available for www.remarpro.com blogs.

But this plugin WordPress stats helper solves the purpose

It picks up stats from WP-stats and can display a counter using a widget.
