This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
?
The best way to determine this is to:- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Were the products imported to the site via CSV? If so, it could be that.
Based on this post I found in GH, this issue is most commonly the result of a bad import using an importing plugin (e.g. bad post statuses or types). I’d recommend looking at the WP_Posts database table and see if there are any unrecognized statuses there e.g. placeholder.
Please review the suggestions from Mike J in the above linked GitHub thread and let us know if any of this works to resolve the problem.

Can you please deactivate all but the 1 WooCommerce core plugin, and switch to a default theme such as Storefront and then send a screenshot of the Products area as well as the updated System Status report? Thanks!
