Ok, thanks for the advice

I’m not sure if my answer is going to be helpful or not but i have just changed my domain.

what i ahd to do is make the new domain a primary domain in godaddy as my site is hosted in the root, once all that was done i had to go into wordpress admin panel then settings > General
then change the wordpress address (URL) and site address (URL) to the new domain and i was done.
