In reply to: Contact Form Not Sending Email – Regular mail gets sentMany of my clients are small business or marketing clients. Many of them want different interactive features included in their blog setup – like the WP Contact Form, the Email Subscription form, the “Email this post to a friend” – – all of those are plugins developed for WordPress – – but none of them work on Yahoo! hosting. I don’t know the technical details of it all – but it seems to be in the way Yahoo! processes plugins that require email notification. The contact form plugins looks good – and looks like it should work – – but doesn’t. The user never gets the email that is sent with the contact form (as a note: when this client moved to a new hosting company, the contact form worked like a charm.) The very same can be said for the “Notify subscribers of new posts” and “Email this post to a friend” plugins – – didn’t work on Yahoo – – works just fine on other hosts without any configuration changes to the software or plugins. (I have been told that these ‘mail’ and ‘notification’ plugins will only work with Yahoo if the email address set in them has the same domain name as the blog, itself. I have yet to test this out – but, again, users should be able to use whatever email they want in their tools, no?)

In reply to: Contact Form Not Sending Email – Regular mail gets sentI think Yahoo hosting somehow is blocking it.
I’ve got the same problem.

In reply to: How to include a second sidebar file for a special URL? eg. /store/<?php get_sidebar(); if('https://link/web/'()) include ('sidebar2.php'); { ?>
Something like that? I’ve really got no idea.
Or perhaps elseif.. instead of if.

In reply to: How to remove sidebar on 1 page, and keep it on the others?Thanks for that LenK. I will surely use this function on my upcoming themes.
<?php if (is_page('x')) : ?> <?php else : ?> <?php get_sidebar(); ?> <?php endif; ?>
That one was really nice and simple. Thanks again.

In reply to: How to remove sidebar on 1 page, and keep it on the others?Nevermind. I remade the flash itself, instead.
