After a bit of research, I discovered that this is caused by a wocoommerce bug => https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/28591
It was first noticed by us as the cloned orders positions have all the same behaviour as the manually added positions – making it more noticeable in this scenario.
This means, that once WC solves the issue this is solved.
On your end, this is sth. which could be avoided if the positions in the cloned order where exactly as the ones from the cloned order, as per the discount secuence and the discount being shown on the position itself.

No, it is a standard woocommerce discount, applied via coupon code at checkout.

yes, we would like to avoid conditional email sending.
Easier would be, could you let me know the part of the code of your plugin where you clone the order status?
We would like to change that fragment to manually define the order status of cloned orders.

this looks like a really useful plugin and one which can solve a problem we are facing.
However, I am struggling also a bit to get this set up as I have no experience in APIS and Auth.
Would it be possible to hire some premium support to get this set up fast?
We just want to auto login users via a link embeded in an email, which should not be extremely complicated. Additionally, we would want to make sure that the implemented solution is secure.
