So the tax will always be added even when a valid VAT number is entered? I assume I would have to customise the Jigoshop backend files to make this deduct the VAT when valid VAT numbers are entered?

The message below on the Jigoshop checkout page indicates that the VAT will be removed when the VAT number is entered. Why would Jigoshop display that message if the functionality is not there?

Here is what the message at the bottom states…

If you have entered an EU VAT Number, it will be looked up when you Place your Order and verified. At that time Only, will VAT then be removed from the final Order and totals adjusted. You may enter your EU VAT Number either with, or without, the 2 character EU country code in front.

Thanks Marcin, I have emailed these as requested.

Hi, I have updated and it is still applying the VAT even when a valid VAT number is entered in to the system. Should I email admin access to someone at Jigoshop to investigate this?

Resolved this with an altered header file.

    Hi,

Sorry for delay in replying I was on holiday and this response arrived whilst I was away.

The weird thing is that it calculates there are reviews and does show the total star rating correctly and how many reviews there are but it is only when it is supposed to list the comments it shows the message saying there are none and you can be the first to review. I am using the standard Jigoshop reviews code with no modifications which is why it is odd. Is there anything else in the templates that could impact on this?
