Here’s a screenshot. The black bar to the side is the admin menu. It’s at the very bottom of the page. It drops me down here when I click anywhere on the plugin page.

Hi, WP Engine was able to fix the problem. The first person I talked to was confused and it is indeed their Heartbeat control function causing the problem. If anyone else encounters this problem in the future, WP Engine support needs to turn off the hearbeat_autosaves function.

    Thank again for your help!

Thank you both! I appreciate the rapid responses. I’m currently working with WP Engine support but so far we have had no luck. We have tried changing the heartbeat setting, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. Something else is causing it. We will continue troubleshooting and I’ll update you when I learn anything!

    Hey,
I’m running WordPress 5.3.2, with BuddyPress 5.1.2 and BuddyPress Docs 2.1.3. I believe those are the latest versions. The error occurs even in default themes. I’m using WP Engine hosting.

I did find that my security plugin had added some rules to a .htaccess file in wp-includes, so I removed that. It fixed a large number of the errors, so right now these are the only ones I’m getting:

    Deprecated TinyMCE API call: <target>.onKeyPress.add(..)
