With a plug in I was getting it to work. I activated the one called main and left the one called blogs unactivated. then I added a plugin called page theme and that lets me choice what theme I want under pages and posts. There is a box in a second row called theme and when you click on it, it lets you click on a theme. But I noticed that it is a little screwy Lookis like it wants to selct all three.

Should I be altering the parent theme and take out titles in the child theme. All I want is to have all my static pages not have titles. and all news stories and other blogs have their titles so people know what they are reading and looking for…. please help

Well to elaborate, I want to make the body of the home page have a news feed and click on it to read more lower than that I want the facebook like box then other widgets to the right of that, since the facbook like box is only 250 pixels wide. I am looking at using tables but having trouble with alignment issues. Images I put in the left row fall down when something like the facebook like box is added to the column. still learning how to work in wordpress here. Use to creating everything in photoshop, dreamweaver and slicing it up. So if i get the full version I can add widgets and they can be seen going horizontally on the page?

How do I upload to godaddy? They told me that since I installed wordpress or clicked the wordpress icon inside my godaddy account that they connected to each other. They told me I do not need filezilla and I am confused. When I use to work with dreamweaver I would uplaod or sync my new work to godaddy in the program. I have files on my desktop and some themes in my wp-content folder but to be honest not sure what they are doing there. If I install a new theme in the back end of wordpress nothing shows up new in my desktop. So I dont know what I am doing or how to upload to doaddy. Please enlighten me.
