Many thanks. I have investigated and see that it only works with the theme Twenty Sixteen. I am more than happy to let you have an admin login, but any other (of the recent WP) themes I have tried fail.

With Twenty Sixteen I can also deactivate the jQuery helper plugin and it works fine.

In my haste I missed the templates drop-down above the message box.

Now I can say that this is a cracking plugin!!

I am having exactly the same problem. The notification arrives with only the message text in it.

If I put any template tags in the message, they are not processed and just arrive as I pasted them.

This fixed my problem in Joomla! too!! Whey hey!

I have the same issue except that no authors are showing. When I look at the code (firebug) for the table entry it contains:

<td class="author column-author">
<a href="edit.php?post_type=post&author=1"></a>
</td>

Obviously this is not visible. Does this help shed any light on the problem i might have?

I am a bit under the cosh here as I find this plugin works great on themes that do not use teasers on the front page. Can anyone help me make this appear correctly on the top of the front page and yet maintain the appearance of the teasers below?
