The club president bought the PRO version and he says he can’t remember the password. LOL. I have to get over there to his house and we can log an issue together. In the meantime, I’ll just keep FTPing the updates. thanks!

I could not update it via the wordpress dashboard. The site crashed again. I was able, however, to update it using Filezilla and FTPing the folder directly. That’s how I’ve had to do the last 3 udpates.

I manage several sites that use this plugin. This is the only one that crashes with updates and this is the only one that we have purchased the PRO addon for. We have lots of recurring events and I wonder if this has something to do with it.

thank you so much! That’s exactly what i did and it’s all fixed!!! Thanks!!

Thank you! That’s exactly what I did.

I used FileZilla and deleted the folder for Events Calendar AND Events Calendar Pro. I tried to re-upload it from my WordPress dashboard and it failed with a different error:

Installation failed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> 500 Internal Server Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

So then I re-deleted the folders and then transferred them directly using FileZilla. All I had to do was activate them from my wordpress dashboard and all is well with the world!

Hey there! Not sure where to post this but my events plugin completely disappeared from my list of plugins (I think it happened after the update a day or so ago but we didn’t notice until a user pointed it out). I tried to reinstall it but I get an error message that the installation failed because the folder already exists.

I am getting this same error. My events plugin has disappeared. The PRO addon is still there but the main plugin is gone. When i try to reinstall from the wordpress plugin page it fails because it says the folder already exists. I tried to upload the zip file and got the same thing. help!!

I can’t uninstall or deactivate because it is not showing up in my list of plugins at all.
