Sorry about that.. Just frustrated that after the update I can no long get into the admin site of the site..

The origin of this compromise, as I stated, is unclear but as a unix admin years it feels like a PHP injection (wordpress root, theme or plugin, etc). Not determined as of this hour. BUT, be clear, I’ve included my findings immediately to help the community and not point fingers.

WordPress Security can use it as they will and contact me for the actual code forced into the WordPress /plugins directory and duplicated within a “seemingly random” /themes directory and finally pushed into the /httpdocs/img directory as the forward facing phishing link use by the party(s).

Looks like the problem is also cause by a combined plugin of WPaudio & WP Hide Post .. Hope this helps someone out there!

After further investigation; I determined that the cause of the problem explained above was due to an Internal PHP coding problem. I will write to the author and in the mean time, deactivate this plugin until the author corrects the issue.

I’ve tried different themes which did not help.

I do find it strange that /wp-admin/post-new.php for adding NEW POSTS works fine but the same PHP script with the TYPE of PAGE for creating NEW PAGES /wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page does not work!

white screen of death here too.. 709 file upload later, MANUAL upgrade; all files checked and wp-config.php checked, etc etc.. still white screen and NOTHING!
