I’ve been having a similar problem, the Contact Form 7 page appears to work fine, but 90% of the time no email is received. I’ve done all the FAQ stuff, and this form used to work perfectly. Has anyone got this working that isn’t using gmail?

I do have version 0.7 installed, and all three plugins (cf7, bwp, and re-captcha) are installed and active. However, this is the message I receive:

In my logs I found they were trying to hack in through the captcha and a few other places.

Stonenote, so when you deleted the captcha folders from Contact Form 7, that solved the malware attacks? I am seeing the same symptoms of attacks happening through the captcha stuff in Contact Form 7, so if that solved it for you, then I might try that too and hope askimet catches all the spam.

Since removing Contact Form 7 the hacks have stopped. As far as I can tell, there is something in the Contact Form captcha folder that is being used to allow hackers access. I see there are several threads now on this forum about this problem, so can the developer please look into this?

Hi, yes I was using 1.1.4. Like Thomas, the field name changes aren’t saving when I hit the enter key.

Same problem, changes don’t save. I’m running WordPress 3.3.2, installed in the root directory, javascript enabled, plugin in the standard plugin folder.

I am experiencing a similar problem, Contact Form 7 folders are acting as a repository for the Blackhole malware on my sites. For now my only solution is to remove the plugin completely from the servers and see if the attack is coming from somewhere else or if the attacks stop. I’d love to know if others are experiencing the same thing.

I have locked down my sites as per recommendations from Web Defender and Sucuri, and using completely fresh wordpress, so I’ll report back.

I removed all Facebook stuff from my blog because of the same thing.

I am also having problems with 3.2.1 of WordPress. The PHP and MySQL versions are correct, and 3.2 seemed to work fine, but 3.2.1 is horribly slow.

Try the .menu area starting at line 216 on the style.css file.

I am very impressed by this plugin and by the developer support. I also recommend this plugin!

Thank you for the quick response. Switching to PHP5 does fix the problem. ??
