In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Google IAB TCF v2 Error Codes & GuidanceHello
There are two bits of news from Google
Error grace period for Google extended to Mid Jan – https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9999955?hl=en
Also Google have removed the time out on their side which many believe is the main reason for the 2.1a errors – https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9999955?hl=en#ms
QC have created a lot of content about this with many fixes and help .. but now Google have looked at the route of the issue – also the extension shows it’s a widespread issue for all sites, not just those using QC

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] How can I refresh page after consent is givenMaybe you could use one of the CMP API’s to set a refresh?
https://help.quantcast.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047078534-Choice-CMP2-CCPA-API-Index-TCF-v2-0-
What would be the reason for wanting to refresh the page?

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Subdomains version 12Yes it does – it will show on subfolders – but for subdomains it may need more work

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Subdomains version 12https://help.quantcast.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052725133-Quantcast-Choice-User-Guide
There is no mention of subfolders – the path https://www.example.com/uk is an extension of https://www.example.com and the universal tag should apply to that one
of course you need to make sure the universal tag is implemented on all domains
I will feedback that it might need more clarity in the docs

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Hiding Privacy buttonInfo is here
You can move the button via the portal to any corner – Advance css will allow for more changes
In the portal you untick the box to remove the button entirely
If you have to remove it please ensure you embed the function linked above in another button (in the footer or menu) such as ‘change consent’ otherwise you will risk non compliance – GDPR states you must provide a way for a user to change or revoke their consent as easily as it was to give – So do not hide it away or not offer it)

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] What is the difference between two choices@arthuroadam if you also declare special purpose number 2 – actively scanning a device – then Google will not work with you. Could that be the issue with ads not working?

In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Error Google 5.1 !If anyone else has this issue I would check the following
1. is the site of service or global scope
Service scope (or service group) are the only ones Google will accept so I would recommend anyone working with Google to not use Global Scope (your site and other sites they visit)
2 if you are on Global scope, you will probably be inheriting consent from another global scope CMP on the framework which has Out of Band enabled (Choice does not support OOB) and this will cause these errorsForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Quantcast Choice] Google Error 2.1a even with Stackoverflow workaroundhttps://help.quantcast.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052292554-Google-IAB-TCF-v2-Error-Codes-Guidance
1.1 is probably linked to user consent collected before Google joined the TCF v2 – this number should reduce as those users are reprompted over the coming weeks/months
2.1a is nearly always linked to tags firing before the CMP closes – you should check no google tags are firing until the CMP closes
Also, I believe there is a lag on the reports – so if you’ve recently made changes I’d wait 7 days and see if they have improved
