Thanks, I’ll post there. I just think that it might not be an issue with the plugin, I think there were some emails coming from other sources that still had that in the Subject. A hosting issue maybe?

I think the client uses IE 11.

He hasn’t tried to upload a file again yet so hopefully it was a once off issue and won’t happen again.

The hosting company said there were 2 issues, the first was CPU Usage was used up and the second was that concurrent connections had reached it’s limit (it’s set to 20).

The client as far as I know only tried to upload one file, it was 1GB+.

No, don’t use the admin username on any site.

Another option with that plugin is to ban any user that tries to login as ‘admin’. I would have that activated on all sites. And one other option although it might be gone since the last update was to ‘hide the backend’ – login URL, so I would also change this from wp-admin to something different (but don’t seem to be able to since the last update).

I’ve just logged into one of the sites there and checked the logs since about the 10th of June.

There has been 4 different IP addresses trying to login as my Username, some sites probably have quite a few more.

One option with that plugin is to block IP addresses but there can be so many used that a list of blocked IP addresses can become quite large and I’ve heard that this can slow down website load speed.

It looks as though there are some plugin tables in the database that are referencing the old host server even though these plugin have been deleted.

An example is the Layer Slider plugin, this was deleted earlier but tables still remain in the database. Is there anyway to clean up the database and remove tables from plugins that are no longer installed?

Thanks for the info, I never thought to look at Media Settings in WordPress. Large images are opening up at 1024px ok and I am using Visual Composer which gives the option to link to large image, I had just thought that this would link to the original version of the image not a 1024px version.

I had changed CSS to change the lightbox size to display at 50% of what it was, it was set to 100% which was too big. Might be something else in my CSS that changed it but I don’t think so.

Sorted. There is a checkbox in Screen Options at the top of the page to display Product Data, Related Products can be found in there.
