If you make a new page and use the shortcode it won’t show their name anymore. I hope this helps.

I don’t mind the panel as long as it isn’t on the top. For me it appears close to the bottom.

Ok thanks. Yeah, true I mis-used that term. I meant open source as in free.

I am merely wondering if it is possible to clone one subsite to another subsite without a plugin using mysql, etc methods. I understand the plugin authors have already done this, but those are paid plugins, not open source.

Sorry to clarify I am asking if there is a way to do it without a plugin as in mysql dump/restore, etc or not in MS. Thanks very much for the plugin options, especially the replicator one. That is exactly what I am looking to do with a plugin.

Great, thanks for the responses. Yes, I know I can replicate the sites in a normal WP install using db dumb, etc but was wondering if you could do the same with Multi-site, or if it doesn’t work that way.

I guess I am just confused on how you would even be able to replicate a site when it is a totally different method of installing and working with WP. Any input?
