as you’ve not provided too much info, forgive me if i’m going over some obvious steps here.
1. what sort of computer are you using – i.e. have you downloaded this to windows
2. where would you want to run wordpress from. it has to run from a webserver, so that could be a server that runs locally on your machine, or on web space you have
3. the way you’ll most probably upload this, ie as in step 4, is by FTP, from which you move to 5, whereupon you’ll do the rest in your browser.
