I know there are some plug-ins that will help with it, but I’ve gotten so few real comments, without the Bots I’d have nobody. ??

Thanks for the comment Kenny. Generally updates to most anything aren’t smooth. Particularly if there are plug-ins associated with it. Stuff expires or stops working. And generally updates are tested about as well as everything else these days.

Anyway, I just got it all working a few weeks ago so I am not about to muck it up by doing an update!

I can understand wanting to prevent the forums from being spammed and I appreciate the time you took to explain it to me. (I don’t like the “keeping the forum uncluttered” statement one bit though.)

Thanks for response.

Saying that the forum guideline is “weak description” for the true reason behind wordpress’ poor decision is quite the understatement.

Claiming that my 16 letter signature on threads that hadn’t gotten any other posts (some that were ignored for more than a week) was “cluttering up www.remarpro.com” is pretty insulting.

I wasn’t advertising any business, just my very first personal blog.

If I cluttered up www.remarpro.com, they certainly have my insincere apology.

I won’t create any more clutter. I won’t even sign my name. Gets me out of here more quickly, where I can find someplace less oppressive to post and share what just happened here.

Wow Flying_Cat that is so cool! It took me a little while to figure out what was going on. It looks like there is a plug in called Pinterest but I did not see a theme.

I am definitely going to experiment with it some.

I loved what you did and all of the pictures are credited to where they came from too.

Hi blograzzi, I have gotten mixed feelings about the Blog name. For instance wwrhskteeq didn’t like it that much. But I think it fits me pretty well. What do you think I should put instead of my picture in the logo?

I was looking at it and the content and flow seems fine, but it doesn’t have much color or flair to it. Maybe that is best for a news site?

Also I saw no RSS feed which is good for a news site.

For your Gravatar you could make a square and then put your icon in it so it doesn’t get cut off. I just see ND instead of Indy.

It is very elegant, but a bit spooky. And some of the pages I couldn’t see very well, like the “leave a comment” was in a strange light font that blends in with the background.

I did not really understand the navigation with the floating boxes and the red and green tags. It confused me.

The background is very cool and it looks slick!

Oh I liked that a lot even though I am not into sports! Good job!

Particularly on the bottom, the ragged border that looks like a cloth pattern is cool. Also I liked the colors and how they go together!
