    Hi Joe,

First of all, I can confirm that it is now working correctly with the new update.

And about what you are asking me, I cannot confirm! At NextN we have many editors, and the report they gave me is that a schedule did not send the tweet/post to social networks. I started to investigate and saw that those in WordPress did not have text in Xposter, I tried to save one and saw that it was deleted, and then I checked old WordPress posts and saw that they were all empty. But, I just checked those old posts and I see that they all have their records in the Xposter box.

It is very likely that it was what you say, that it was simply “invisible”.

I like much better how it is now organized with the update, by the way, it looks clearer. Thank you very much for everything Joe!

Hi Joe! Sorry if I didn’t explain myself well.

I’m referring to the space where you write the text that is later sent to social networks, that is, the Xposter box in WordPress.

Until the update, all the text in this box was saved, but now when you save a draft, or even click publish, everything is deleted. Therefore, if you click directly on the WordPress publish button, and you have just filled out the Xposter section, your text is published on social networks, but all this text is deleted from the Xposter box. On the other hand, if you schedule the publication for a later date, nothing is published.

In short: everything you put in Xposter, when you save a draft, is deleted.

No, my mistake. I thought it was a recent post, now I see it’s from a month ago! What I’m saying is happening to us since the new update.

The same thing happens to me. That is, the Open Graph tags are present, because if I publish the message manually, then the featured image appears in BlueSky, but if I do it through Xposter, it appears on Twitter, but not on BlueSky, nor on Mastodon, although I have to say that I don’t care much about Mastodon (there isn’t much activity there).

I think I know why this happens: When you save a draft, everything in Xposter is deleted. That is, if you write a post in WordPress, fill out Xposter and hit publish, the tweet will appear without any problems. But if you save the draft to be published on a scheduled date, then it will be deleted. With this new update, that is what happens: when you save a draft, the content in Xposter is deleted.

Hi Khürt! Thanks a lot for your help!

Do you know what I think my mistake might have been? I had put https://bsky.social. I didn’t look closely at that part, and I thought these were “instances” like on Mastodon. I didn’t realize I could claim my domain, so I’ve killed two birds with one stone.

Since last night, I’ve been testing 5 posts we’ve made… with no results ??

Here’s how I have the setup now:

Bluesky Domain: I now have https://bsky.app
Bluesky “Identifier”: Since I’ve verified my domain, here I now have https://bsky.app/profile/nextn.es
Password: Since my username changed, I’ve tested by creating a new app.

And nothing. It doesn’t work, no posts are sent to Bluesky. It would be very helpful if this plugin had some way to check that the connection was established correctly, or to give an error message in case it didn’t work, for whatever reason. It’s very frustrating to test this way.

Again, and likewise, thank you very much for your help!

I’m leaving another message here, in case the creator of this plugin could help us out.

The same thing happens to me. It seems simple, because it only has 3 fields to fill in, but I’ve wasted time trying to find all the possible combinations without success. And of all the plugins for Bluesky, which there are hardly any, this is the one I want to trust, because of its creator. But seriously, I don’t know what else to try ??

I’ve seen that some of the things I thought were wrong, and a post on this forum discusses some possible solutions. But nothing works, no new published posts appear in our Bluesky account (https://bsky.social/nextn). I’ve tried all of this:

Bluesky Domain:? Finally, I think what needs to be indicated here is this: https://bsky.social

Bluesky “Identifier”: Here I’ve tried to put (without quotes) “nextn”, “https://bsky.social/nextn”, or what I saw indicated in the post where they say they make the plugin work, “https://bsky.social/profile/nextn”

Password: Not the password for my Bluesky account, but for the app I’ve created. I have two apps created, could this be why? Because I don’t know how to know if the password is for one or the other without putting the name of the app in the configuration.

Thank you very much for your reply, Omar. We have been trying to restore the permissions with the data you have provided, even with a WP-options file prior to the problem, without success. Do you think it could be a problem with my theme’s functions.php file? I mean, seeing as there is no specific permission for that, could this be it? I haven’t had time to test it, I won’t be able to touch the subject again until Thursday ??

No, it’s not a plugin conflict issue. I’ve been using almost the same plugins for 5 years. The problem was caused by me ??

I was cleaning outdated options from over a decade ago (my website turns 13 this year) from the WP-Options table, and I must have accidentally deleted something I shouldn’t have from that table, despite all my precautions (I know it’s a dangerous thing to do).

I restored all the users’ permissions using other plugins, and everything went back to normal, except for this. I understand that there must be some permission in WordPress to enable or disable sending posts for review, but I can’t find it. For example, if I wanted to create a new Contributor profile type with that option, it should be available to activate. But with the three permissions required for a Contributor (in “Edit Posts”, “Delete Posts” and “Read Posts”), the posts menu doesn’t appear, only the dashboard to access the profile menu.

Hi Omar, thank you very much for your reply. Sorry, I didn’t complete my message and posted it with missing information. I wanted to say that the default permissions for Contributor are assigned correctly, they are just the ones in the image. But with those permissions the ability to access the posts menu is not available.

Right now, a contributor can only access the option to modify their profile in WordPress, and that’s it. And if I add the “Publish Posts” permission, then they can enter the posts menu but with the ability to publish directly, without sending the post to review.

Hi katereji. Thanks for your reply. By the way, I have been using Cleantalk for about 8-10 years, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the plugin ?? Now I will register the problem in the URL that you have given me.

Thanks so much HiggySmalls! <3<3<3 They could already put it in the plugin’s own help, I looked everywhere on the official website and there was no information.

@digit89 Today I downloaded the previous version (just in case I had to rollback) and I have proceeded to update to the new version , clean caches, CDN and everything. In my case, I have been testing with users after an hour, and everything works correctly. If there is any change I will indicate it.
