Tara, thanks for the links to the resources!

Fortunately an angel by the name of Rob from [link redacted by moderator] contacted me and totally helped me find where all that was coming from, and helped me remove it!

    THANK YOU, ROB!

    I’m using WordPress 4.2.4.
But, I just recently updated it to that.
When the hack happened, it was on something lower. I don’t remember.
    Maybe 4.2.0 or something.

Or is it a new day and therefore a fresh limit.

I thought I was going to have to go into each of the 8 pages where I have a separate YouTube Gallery playlist, and add the API key to the shortcode.

But, suddenly ALL the pages are displaying correctly, and no longer showing the “daily limit exceeded” error message! Did the API key on only ONE page make a difference?

Or should I add the key to all the pages?

It worked! Kind of! The title showed up, but the description didn’t.
SO, I removed this part: description_words_number=”10″
    THEN everything displayed correctly.
    Thanks again!!

Oh my gosh! BOB! It worked. At first I combined your advice about regenerating a new key with the PoseLab shortcode and it DIDN’T work. I was about to come here and say it didn’t work. But, then I though, “No, I gotta try things one at time. So, I went back to my former shortcode and just switched out the key. And VIOLA! I was shocked actually. It’s always SO wonderful when things get solved.

So, now I have to figure out what to add to make the titles and descriptions show up, too. Now it’s just showing thumbnails and nothing more. But, we’re GETTING there!

    Thank you SO much, Bob!
PoseLab, sorry your code didn’t work.

If anybody wants to let me know what to add to make the titles and descriptions show up, I would appreciate that greatly, too.

    I’m gonna try adding this: title=”1″ description=”1″ description_words_number=”10″

    Right now it’s set to title=”0″ description=”0″

I’ll let you know how it goes!
    THANKS AGAIN!!

I am SUDDENLY having the same issue. I get this message:

Error type: “Forbidden”. Error message: “Daily Limit Exceeded” Domain: “usageLimits”. Reason: “dailyLimitExceeded”. Location type: “”. Location: “”.

I’ve tried things that have been mentioned here.
I’ll start by saying I’m using WordPress 4.2.2 and YouTubeChannelGallery 2.2.2.

    – I created a Google Project
    – I created an API for “YouTube Data API v3”
    – I went to Credentials and created a new key under “Public API access”.
    – I added my domain in the referrers, THEN removed it (right now it’s set at “any referrer allowed” I tried it with my url first.
    – I’m using this for the shortcode from the Ramzii post above:

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed=”playlist” user=”PLvA7mLI48Nne_U_ur4qt8_UMeWXM77RjC” videowidth=”580″ ratio=”16×9″ theme=”light” color=”white” autoplay=”0″ rel=”0″ showinfo=”0″ maxitems=”4″ thumb_width=”183″ thumb_ratio=”16×9″ thumb_columns_ld=”3″ title=”0″ description=”0″ promotion=”0″ pagination_show=”1″ description_words_number=”0″ link=”1″ key=”added-my-key-here”]

I don’t know if it was necessary to NOT show the key I obtained, but I thought I would be on the safe side and just put “added-my-key-here” instead of my actual precious API key. Sheesh!

Anyway, here’s the page where it’s not working:

    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
    ??

    THANKS!
