    Hello all

    I solved the problem finally by again deactivating ALL plugins and then re-activating just the CKEditor. This showed up immediately. Then I re-activated the rest in groups of 5 until on the 3rd batch, the editor disappeared again. I then de-activated this batch of 5 and CKEditor re-appeared. So all is working as it should. The culprit turned out to be FolioPress WYSIWYG which is itself an editor that I had experimented with but not de-activated.

    I don’t see anu uninstall option in the Dashboard. In the Themes section, I only see “Broken Theme” with no facility to uninstall, re-install or anything. If I go to Install another Theme and call up the Techozoid Fluid Theme, it tells me it is already installed and therefore I cannot re-install it. Unless I’m missing something, there’s no solution I can find.
    Thanks

    I’ve had the same problem since the WP upgrade from 2 buttons to 1 on the media upload. I cannot get any response that works. Have tried all suggestions and none have any effect.- de-activated plugins, re-set plugins, re-loaded wp etc. The insert/upload button remain dead.

    I have done everything that anyone has suggested and the media insert/upload button remains completely dead – cannot load any media, doesn’t even want to try. Never had any problem before change single media button instead of 2, but I can’t say specifically when this happened because I’ve only just tried to upload new images. There’s a Spanish site that suggests its to do with https:// and that if you use https://all is OK. I tried that and it hung up completely, wouldn’t even load the site. Have tried IE9, Firefox, Seamonkey. Also Palemoon(based on Firefox) now crashes completely. Something ain’t right here….any ideas from WordPress cause I’m STUCK.

    Thanks but I finally sorted it by setting the Permalinks back to default. Now my problem is that 2 of my plugins won’t work because they can’t use the Permalink default!

    Hello again

    FYI I found a rogue/ that I had left and retried everything. After the 3rd attempt it suddenly burst into life! both the local site and the admin. I checked the settings -General tab and the 2 url boxes are now greyed out. So…..I now want to move the site to my host which is https://sales-source.co.uk. Do I leave the first WP address as it is and hardcode the config.php file with the new url in the 2nd field? or do you have a better idea?
    Thanks

    Hello again
    Well I hardcoded the url https://127.0.0.1/wp-salessource into both locations and get exactly the same result as before – it goes straight to this SEDO site. if I add the /wp-login.php it allows me to log in but goes straight to this SEDO site still. Same happens if I click “register” rather than log in. So more confused.!
    regards

    Hello Jan
    Thanks for the quick response. I’ve followed the article instructions by editing the wp-config.php file and adding define(‘RELOCATE’,true);
    I then put in https://salessource/wp-login.php and indeed did get a login screen-without the template. I entered the login details as normal but STILL get this SEDO screen!

    I am on localhost so the site can’t have gone anywhere but the name I am using “salessource” is what this SEDO site is bringing back and asking me to buy. I don’t think I can ftp localhost or access via phpmyadmin so any more ideas welcome.
    Thanks
