looks like the problem is back (in 2.8.29). Not sure since when as I updated the plugin from 2.6.12 to latest very recently.
Redirection as explained above no longer works.
Reverted to 2.6.12 and works again.
Update: Tested 2.6.20, works. 2.7.34 does not work. 2.7.21 (oldest available 2.7 download) does not work either. So re-introduced between 2.7.0 and 2.7.21.
