In reply to: [Complete Open Graph] FB messenger get the wrong imageThat’s a good question, and it’s an issue I’ve never seen myself before. As long as the OG markup is valid (and it looks like it is for your site), this sounds like an issue with how Facebook Messenger parses the information. Unfortunately, there’s not much I’m able to do from that standpoint.
I haven’t much experience with this myself, but it does look like there are a couple of well-reviewed plugins out there, including this one:

In reply to: [Complete Open Graph] Image size appears different on FBDo you know the resolutions of the original images? My hunch is that there’s a particular dimension that’s small, and so Facebook is automatically rendering it such a way.

In reply to: [Complete Open Graph] Feature request: Exclude widget areaHi! Do you have an example link? My hunch is that Facebook is automatically grabbing the closest image it can find on the page if one isn’t set explicitly for Open Graph. If you don’t want those images to be used, a possible solution (although a hacky one) would be to upload a blank, small image as your OG image, which case Facebook should grab that one. I have not verified this myself, but that’s where I’d start.

In reply to: [Complete Open Graph] disable default generation?Hi! Just to be clear, you’re looking to disable whatever COG generates by default, and only register tags by using the complete_open_graph_all_data filter?
Hello! This could be the result of a couple of things:
First, it sometimes takes some time for Facebook to purge it’s Open Graph cache, so that might be why you’re seeing old data. I’d recommend using their debugger tool, where you’ll be able to manually re-scrape a page:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Second, I see that there is a second set of Open Graph tags being generated on that page. Are you sure every other plugin that might be handling that is disabled?
Thanks!
