1. You can opt by clicking on the Skip button so that you do not connect with Freemium, even thus the ideal would be to click Allow & Continue so that you can keep up with updates.

2. If Freemium is skipped, it will not associate with the licenses, meaning it will allow running the plugins but without a licensed key it will not update, forcing you to handle it manually.

Freemium handles the updates for us, but yes, you may opt by skipping it and the theme should work normally without any issues.

Small correction there: The domain is registered with GoDaddy, but the site it is hosted with CloudWays.

I will try to see if the link that you shared leads to any resolution, and post here my findings.

Indeed, this is a Yoast Pro feature, nevertheless, I managed to get the permalinks to use subcategories by assigning the posts to the subcategories intended and not to Main Category > Subcategory. The permalink structure remains the same, however, when clicking in the menu, let us say, Blog (Main Category) > GothBleak (Subcategory), it returns a 404 page on both links and not the posts as it should.

The redirect feature I believe, should be automatic and not a manual input as it is now, also having it accessible in a full display, instead of individually per post, might ease the workflow of many of us.
