I can confirm that the plugin works fine with my version of 4.5.3

I’m having same problem with twentythirteeen theme. Guessing by the fact there’s no response this isn’t being supported any more.

I followed these instructions – nothing happens. Neither a carousel or a short code appears in my page.

This plugin worked fine for me on 2.7, and now it suddenly doesn’t. I don’t think the developer is still working on it though so might be worth giving up and jumping to something else. ??

Do I need to delete my empty categories?

That’s why if you click on the permalink you can change it instantly- at any time during post editing. The hint is the [edit] link.

That way you can set it to whatever you like, whenever you like.
