In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Schema.org Breadcrumbs?Maximilian, thank you very much for your guide! ??
Awesome!
If you want to fix it in the meantime, and are comfortable with PHP, you can change line 90 in wp-facebook-ogp.php to use ‘wpfbogp_flush_ob’ instead of ‘wpfbogp_end_ob’.
Thanks, it works!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Schema.org Breadcrumbs?Yes, indeed i discovered that in the past Google didn’t require to have microdata to show breadcrumbs in rich snippets, while now this kind of metatags are required.
Therefore, websites that have breadcrumbs already shown in Google search don’t need to update their HTML, while new websites need to implement microdata.I have the same problem: moreover, the “No posts found.” page is not the standard 404 page. This means that search engines index this kind of page, because they see a normal page (return HTTP code 200).
Therefore, we have a lot of pages indexed, but empty.I think that a first step (for the plugin developer) could be to allow the Admin to “noindex” the NextGen Gallery tags, so that they can be used only for back-end purposes (categorize images, create tag albums, etc). In this way the tag will not be indexed by search engines anymore.
The second step could be to actually show the tagged pictures in that indexed urls.
Hope to see these features implemented in future versions of this awesome plugin.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Schema.org Breadcrumbs?Sorry, it is not schema.org but data-vocabulary… There is a little bit of confusion in Google webmaster docs…
Thanks for your quick answer!

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Wrong image sitemapThe solution, as Alex said, is to disable “Picture tag” in the Yoast’s plugin:
SEO > XML Sitemaps > Exclude taxonomies

In reply to: [After the Deadline] [Plugin: After the Deadline] Post is clearedI confirm, same problem and same solution. Btw, it took some time to me to understand that the problem was ATD. I only saw the post text cleared when i clicked on “publish”!
You can change the filename manually, in the wp_ngg_pictures table, through phpmyadmin.
Joseph, thank you very much for this workaround… you saved me much time!!!
