Hi!

I have been looking into this. I can see an error in the console and the path points to the CF7 Conditional Fields plugin. Could this be related with the issue I’m experimenting?

I agree. In fact, my first goal was to create a WP form that would upload the file to a Google Drive folder, so the person in charge of this would receive an e-mail with the data submitted by the artist plus the link to download the corresponding file from the Google Drive folder. It seems that this could be accomplished with a plugin called Zapier, but it doesn’t work with CF7. I tried some of the other form plugins that do work with Zapier, but the three I tried has the file upload file as a premium feature that requires payment. The thing is that we are a small theater in Buenos Aires, city in which there is a quarantine since March 20th, we haven’t seen any money coming in since then, at this point we really depend on solutions that doesn’t involve money. We don’t know if what we are trying to do will get us any money or how much.

I also tried using a simple Google Form. However, when you include a file upload field, it requieres users to be logged in with their Google Account and there are people that may not have one (yes, there still are).

I deal with people that gets easily lost with digital things (artists that will submit their videos and the people I work with, I’m surrounded), that’s why I need to keep it really simple, I would prefer not to have them fill a form here and having to upload the file somewhere else. Of course, if that’s the only way, be it. But I will try some other workarounds to see if I can keep everyhting on the same form.

@diego92v thank you! I would appreciate if you could share the code! I have already created a child theme for Twenty Twenty for other tweaks I needed to perform. I’m not a developer, but I am able to do some code tweaking here and there by googling a lot and also by trial and error, so I might be able to do it!

Hi,

I also need to remove the space between the logo/menu area and the content area. Actually, I would need to reduce it by half, as there should be some space between those two sections. I tried @acosmin proposed solution, but it doesn’t seem to work on my site. Any other suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I have removed those files.

I have reinstalled CF7 several times, in fact, I have tried installing involved plugins (CF7, Flamingo, CFDB) in different orders, with same results.

I have activated debug mode now and there are no errors related to form activity.

The thing bugs me the most, is not that it is not working, but that it is not working without leaving any clue of why it is not working…

I asked the server support for the error logs, they gave me this address: https://festivalgritalo.com/errorlogs but I don’t see any entry that may refer to this issue (but I’m not a developer, so I don’t know).

I explained the issue to server support, they told me they have disabled mod_security for my account. I tried again, still not working.

In the address book, I can see the mail address that received messages from the form.

On the Inbound Messages it just says “No elements found” (or similar, it’s in Spanish really).

I have deactivated every plugin, except for CF7 and Flaming, and didn’t work. Just in case, I also tried deactivating Flaming and activating Contact Form DB, didn’t work either. It’s driving me crazy.

I will deactivate all plugins to see what happens.
