In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Update Broke Plugin1 – not when we had it installed, we rolled back immediately. Let us see if we can perhaps do upgrade again and that over the weekend and see if we get an error in the webserver logs. we can then roll back if needed but once we have that data.
2. – yes we have a number of plugins and it is a production environment. let’s see if we can find something in 1 first and then go from there.
if anyone else’s report generated any code tweaks (like a beta version) we can try that too if available. just let us know. thank you.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Update Broke Plugin@jdembowski @lopo Thank you, I am the original poster and as I stated I am not comfortable posting the images publicly whether here or on another public forum/mechanism. If Yoast has taken over the plugin, but does not have email support like it does for Yoast Premium which I use (or another method for me to send you the files, which I have via email to Yoast in the past), then I suggest you use what everyone else is sending you to debug and I’ll await the fix. I appreciate your replies, and am not trying to be difficult, but where specific configurations we use are concerned we prefer to communicate those privately. Have a good weekend.

Whatever I hit before took the draft I was viewing and created a new draft which I would then finalize and publish. It wasn’t doing that after I upgraded – I would search for the duplicate and there was no duplicate created. When I have time to update again I will let you know. I appreciate your reply.

In reply to: [Yoast Duplicate Post] Update Broke PluginI think I did click clone and whatever other options there were like I did when it was working but now reverted to the earlier version and it works fine. When I get time I will try to upgrade again but it definitely did not work when I installed yesterday and I tried clicking multiple things to get it to work.
@wpgiftshava no, I do not see that message. Site health says site is healthy.
Yoast 14.0.2 installed without a hitch on all of my other sites. For the site I initially installed 14.0.0 on, it was fixed by
1. installing the Yoast Test Helper plugin:

2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and select the “Reset indexables tables & migrations” button
That fixed the issue and the site is operational. I did have to run through the Yoast setup again for that site, but the error did go away.
Upgraded to 14.0.2 and still receiving same error. Deactivated and reactivated plugin and error persists “Yoast SEO was unable to create the database tables required and as such will not function correctly.” Host confirmed yesterday all permissions needed are in place. Ideas?
Tried 14.0.1 and still same error – host confirms we have all permissions needed including INDEX, just posting to let you know. Thank you.

One other thing – if I click Yoast SEO in Admin it is also talking about upgrading to Yoast Premium – but I was using Yoast Premium for a long time. I just ran the update from the admin as suggested. Could be that the new version deleted some of the data relating to the fact that the site was premium?
