In reply to: [Auto Update Post Date] Offset Post Date IssuesThanks, we will install it. This is a great plugin and plugin concept – keep up the good work!
@hesseldejong was there an email about this sent out to alert Pro users? We’re having the same issue and no update is showing up in WordPress Admin to get to 5.6.1 – with something as big as this I would think an email notification would be warranted. Does this mean we lost all of this data?

In reply to: [PressForward] Do Not See Source Title Or Link After Pressing BookmarkletThanks @boonebgorges I appreciate the reply and explanation. I had previously used another plugin that did it this way and that plugin had some other issues (posts would disappear after a certain period of time). But I see the Source field and the admin interface and as long as it shows up in the post I’m good with that.
One thing I did notice (and this may just be the theme I am using) is that the Source: done this way in a separate admin field does not respect the More tag. So typically we post a new post and it appears on the home page but only part of it – then the user clicks More to read the whole article. On our theme the Source tag is showing up below the More tag now.

In reply to: [PressForward] Chrome ExtensionI think I have had categories selected using the bookmarklet but when they get into WordPress it is a different category that is designated. Also, when I delete the pre-populated tag “via bookmarklet” it still comes in as a tag that I have to delete (it keeps adding it as a tag in WordPress). A couple of times I’ve had a post add a slew of tags but I haven’t seen that recently.

In reply to: [Surge] Great Plugin; Feature RequestAnd existing cache warming solutions for WordPress are not good (tried many). Sites that want to keep a page cache and/or CDN as warm as possible for Core Web Vitals purposes could use a cache warmer that keeps pages cached and fresh just as well as Surge caches in the first place!

In reply to: [CAOS | Host Google Analytics Locally] Analytics.js not loading@tf5_bassist @daanvandenbergh I can confirm that what @tf5_bassist did also worked for me. I chose the Gtag (deprecated) option and it downloaded the file and the file is now at the CDN as well. I see stats being generated in Monster Insights. So I believe it is working on both my sites now too. I did not do Gtag v4 as I haven’t upgraded to that in Google Analytics yet.

In reply to: [CAOS | Host Google Analytics Locally] Analytics.js not loading@daanvandenbergh on InhouseBlog.com I reverted from 3.9.2 to 3.8.1 after tracked traffic went to basically 0 on 2/13/21. By reverting to 3.8.1. I am now able to see in GtMetrix that analytics.js is loading, but it is loading from Google (not using the local file the plugin downloads as it did before) – see GtMetrix result:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQuJxnky
For settings on the Extensions tab Safe Mode is enabled and no checkboxes are checked. Advanced Settings looks like this:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLugxNYn
The CDN is deployed on a DNS basis (StackPath full site integration) so it should be pulling the local analytics file and then putting it into the CDN so it is loading from our domain. Instead now Google Analytics appears to be working, but it is loading the file from Google.

In reply to: [CAOS | Host Google Analytics Locally] Analytics.js not loading@daanvandenbergh You are welcome. To clarify, looking again I now see both sites using 3.8.1 but the call is not to the local file – it is calling google-analytics.com to load analytics.js – before both were calling the local analytics.js file which then went to our CDN. The other site is gussislaw.com. I also verified both cache folders and do see a fresh analytics.js file in the folders (which I updated after reverting to 3.8.1). So I guess I am still having issues on these two sites as the load is not local like it was. Not sure what changed on 2/13/21 for the first site but didn’t see changes (decrease in page view count) on the second site (gussislaw.com) until a day or two ago. The first site (inhouseblog.com) went to basically 0 tracked page views on 2/13/21.

In reply to: [CAOS | Host Google Analytics Locally] Analytics.js not loadingUPDATE 2/20/21: I rolled back to 3.9.0 and that dit not fix the problem and analytics.js was still not loading. I then rolled back to 3.8.1 and can confirm that analytics.js IS now loading on this site and another affected site. Hope this helps. Waiting to see if MonsterInsights will pick up the data as well.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Too Many JS/Dist Files Loading on Front-EndThank you @optimizingmatters – is there a tool that can help us detect what is loading these? We’ve tried turning off likely plugin culprits but that didn’t help. We didn’t have this issue a few months ago – we think something updated (WP or plugin) that is now making these calls. It would be great to have a tool to see what is making these things load as our other sites don’t have this issue. We even tried the Disable Gutenberg plugin but that didn’t help.
