Hey, thank you for your reply!

I switched themes (5 different) without touching the plugins and it fixed it. When I switch back to Blocksy it comes back.

With Blocksy active, I switched all plugins off and it fixed it.

If I turn WooCommerce on by itself the problem comes back.

Would this be a Blocksy or Woocommerce issue or would you still think this could be a plug-in?

    Said and done.

I went right at it after you taught me how to access my website again and after a few hours I found the culprit!

    MailPoet

Entry processes were at 98% (49/50) now they go to 2% (1/50).

I was looking for a much less popular plugin expecting it to be worse coded but who would think that such a widely spread?plugin could do that? I dont even want to know how all these people are using Mailpoet,?I’ll find something else to send emails.

I have turned on all the other over 50 plugins and the website is working great, thanks to you!

Yes, hosting is shared which isn’t a problem since I will have little traffic in the beginning, I can upgrade later.

Yes, the problem itself is usage of all my available resources which is likely due to a plug-in on a loop making too many queries and therefore using it all up with just a few clicks around the website. Besides, the site is “unpublished” or unannounced meaning only I access it (probably attack bots too but probably not the culprit).

Awesome ???? info on how to disable plugins via ftp and regain access to the dashboard. Support takes too long and they’re not very happy I try to make them fix it for me. I will probably be able to detect the problem now. I’ll let you know.

    Thank you very much!

Hi Eduard, thank you for answering both my issues.

    This code works great, thanks.

I dont plan to change the menu but if I need I will have to, I looked into how to get the DOM ID (had never heard of it) and it seems to be another piece of code, will need time to figure it out. If its simple could you point me in the right direction?

I got rid of that recaptcha, thank you so much. Having to learn and produce quality finished product at the same time is quite a challenge.

I’m almost done with my website but I’ll probably run into a few more tricky stuff. Thank you again.
