  • In that case things get complicated.

As a last resort, the whole text string that the plugin is using for this feature can be located in the .pot files, as seen in the following screenshot edited via the Loco Translate plugin:

The problems with this approach are multiple:

    – When the plugin next updates, this change will be overridden with the newest translation files.

    – Even during the timespan that the plugin is not updating, WordPress has this habit of periodically downloading the translation files in their translate.www.remarpro.com repository and favor them over the files provided by the module. You can temporally sort this by deleting the ‘System’ translation files in Loco Translate for the Contasimple plugin, and make sure you keep the ‘Author’ files so that those are used. And you should then do the changes in the translation files in the plugin folder also, to be consistent.

Not ideal, but should work as long as you can keep track of having the translations in place over time.

Hi @jandres, sorry for the late reply.

For faster assistance, we always recommend to reach as at [email protected] or via the help form in the Cegid Contasimple website.

Back to your question, we do not recommend to try to customize this text via translations as this is a special text, where the NIF part is dynamic and it depends on the country configured in your Contasimple company. Therefore, for users in Spain the displayed value is NIF, but it could be another name on other fiscal regions, regardless of which language you have set in your WordPress installation.

What you can do to customize this text since version 1.13 of the plugin is to use the inbuilt feature to customize this text via the plugin settings, as shown in this picture:

    Hope that helps!

    Regards
