  • I’d add a hearty “me too” to that; not simply sorting, but filtering.

And as a newbie I learnt my lesson about finding the theme on www.remarpro.com rather than via the Themes section of the control panel the hard way.

You find a theme in the control panel. Yes, it has the star rating, if any. No indication of when it was last updated. No indication of the number of people using it. No reviews. No link to the main page for the theme. But it looks good and seems to check the boxes in terms of functionality, so you install it.

Then you find that some of its features just don’t work.

And then you find that it was last updated in 2016, that it may or may not be supported any longer and then, just to top it off, the theme disappears from the list the next day.

So… there isn’t really a lot of point using the control panel functionality without already knowing which theme you’re after having researched it externally, because the control panel gives you 7/8ths of nada information about whether the theme is actually current or abandonware.

And if you research it on the Themes page of www.remarpro.com… you’re still buried up to your thighs in releases which may or may not be current and may or may not be relevant.
