Any news on the subscriber permissions update? You say above you were going to fix it, but the latest thing you mention adding is the enable/disable for the popup on mobile themes? I would love to see this fix asap as I have to disable sign ins for my subscribers……. thanks

Wow! Just seconds after posting i found the answer…… For anyone else with the same issue – there is a “change permalink” option next to the link in each post – changing this effects all posts.

HOWEVER – It seems to have changed something with the previous links as some of them now link back to my original WP.com site and not the new one? It appears that those posts shared via automation link back to old site, but those shared via a link copy point to the new site.

Any further advice to avoid this mess?

no – it imported the media, the categories, the menus are there in the back end although not structured, there are no posts or pages!

Should I delete everything from the blog before I split the file – if so – how would I do that?

the xml is 2.2MB – i am receiving no error messages, but the load bar does seem to freeze forever after pressing the ‘import’ button. (I also check the box that says “download all files”

Ok no problem thank you – the issue is in that case that no posts are even carrying over!
