I have disabled all plug-ins and also tried taking down the theme however nothing works. I have a test blog set the same way on the same web host and it behaves the same way.

Is this to do with the setting on the web host?

Nobody got any ideas to what is causing this? Is it a bug with the new version?

Noticed the problem is partly to do with pasting in from word.

Forgot to mention editing the posts does not work either.

Went through all the options in manage links and cant find out who to link to an external domain in the pages menu. Do I have to go into the code to make this change?

Thanks but will that not just add to the blogroll? Can I add an extrenal link to the pages menu?
