1. Add Item in MORE FILTERS
   Navigate to “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Search Form”. Add fields in the “Advanced” section under Active fields. Refer to this screenshot for guidance: Screenshot.
2. Remove or Change Text on SEARCH HOME (“Search here”, etc.)
   To modify the searchbar placeholder text, go to “Dashboard > Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Search Form”. Click on each field to update the placeholder as needed. Here’s a reference screenshot: Screenshot.
3. Edit Price Range & Change Currency
   To change currency settings, go to “Directory Listings > Settings > Monetization > Gateway Settings” and adjust the currency options. For reference, see this screenshot: Screenshot.
   To adjust the price range, navigate to “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Add Listing Form”, select the “Pricing Field”, and set the ‘Pricing Type’ to “Price Range” to customize your options. Here’s a screenshot for your reference: Screenshot.
4. Edit “What Are You Looking For?” in Search Bar
   Refer to point 2 for instructions.
5. Add Directorist Shortcode in SiteOrigin Page Builder
   Open the page in Page Builder, add a Shortcode Widget, and insert the Directorist shortcode (e.g., [directorist_all_listings]). For more details, please visit: Directorist Documentation — (Shortcodes).
6. Edit Search Bar & Remove Symbol
   Refer to point 2 for editing instructions. To remove the search icon, go to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” and add the necessary CSS.

1. Displaying Categories on Featured Pages and Search Results: You can create custom select fields from the directory builder to set up fields for “Type of School,” “State or Region,” and for “School Fees” you can use custom number fields which can then be displayed on both the featured page and in search results.
2. Creating Boxes for Academic Information (School Listings): To add fields such as “Academic Year,” “Curriculum,” “School Type,” and more, you can go to “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Add Listing Form” and insert the relevant fields for each option. This allows you to customize the form according to your specific needs, and these fields can be displayed on the school listing pages.
3. Creating a Box for Long Descriptions (Up to 500 Words): You can use the “Text Area” field type in the custom fields to allow for long descriptions, such as detailed overviews or school histories. If you want to limit the word count, you can do so by setting restrictions in the Pricing Plan. This way, different plans can offer different word count limits.
4. Displaying School Address on Featured Page and Search Results: The “Address” field is already built into Directorist. Ensure it is enabled in both the listing and search result displays via the “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Search Form” panel.
5. Displaying Ratings and Reviews on Featured Pages: To display the rating on both the All Listings page and the search results page, make sure you have enabled the relevant options under “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > All Listing Layout” and “Search Form“. This will ensure that ratings and the “Rate This School” feature are visible where needed.
6. Displaying Location on Featured Pages and Search Results: The location feature is already built-in. You can add locations via “Directory Listings > Locations“. To display the location field, make sure it’s included in the active fields section under “Directory Builder > All Listing Layout” and “Search Form“.
7. Adding Clickable Text in Listings: To add clickable texts, you can use the “URL Field” in the custom fields section of the “Directory Builder“. This allows you to include links in each listing that will be visible on the featured page/post and in the search results.
8. Adding Categories and Locations for Visitor Searches: You can manage categories and locations by going to “Directory Listings > Categories” and “Directory Listings > Locations“. To ensure visitors can search by these options, you’ll need to configure the “Search Form” via “Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Search Form“. Make sure the “Category” and “Location” fields are added to the active fields section for them to appear in the search filters.
9. Adding Contact Information (Phone, Email, WhatsApp) in Listings: To include contact details such as phone numbers, emails, and WhatsApp links, you can use the “Phone” field for phone numbers, the “Email” field for email addresses, and the “Phone 2” field for WhatsApp links. These can be added via Directory Listings > Directory Builder > Add Listing Form and displayed on the listing details page by configuring the Single Listing Layout.

1. Changing Button and Banner Colors: If you’re using the Directorist theme, you can easily change the colors of the “Add Listing” button, search banner buttons, and banner text by going to Appearance > Theme Options > Colors in your WordPress dashboard.
   
   If you’re using a third-party theme, you can achieve the same result by adding the following CSS code:

6. Highlight featured listing cards: We currently have a badge feature for featured listings. However, implementing additional visual enhancements, such as highlighting, could provide a more prominent display. We’ll forward this suggestion to the development team.
7. Add field column size and field size, and additional columns in forms: We appreciate your input on adding more customization options for form fields. We’ll review this suggestion to explore potential improvements.
8. Add option to upload custom icon images for listing types: Allowing custom icons for listing types is a great idea. We’ll pass this suggestion along for further consideration.
9. Add better author details widget: Including features like call and chat buttons on the listing page is a valuable suggestion. We’ll forward this to the team for evaluation.
