In reply to: [WP STAGING WordPress Backup Plugin - Migration Backup Restore] Docker?Hi @magdamunro
Since the site on docker will have a different domain than the production site, then you need the Pro version to use the Backup/Restore feature to do that, as migrating sites with different domains isn’t included in the free version.
For any more questions about the Pro version, please use this form.
Thanks,
AlaaHi Pasha!
We have a detailed guide describing how you can migrate the staging site to the live site for free, it’s published here. Due to the fact that every website has its own setup and server configuration, the guide describes the general basic steps that suit most sites, but we can’t provide support for this guide per specific site.
The free version doesn’t have the option to push the staging site to the live site, that’s clearly stated in the plugin’s description here, however, it allows you to get a cloned copy of your live site to test new theme, plugin or even a new WordPress version away from your live site, you can also use it to create a backup of your site and restore it anytime if something goes wrong.
I would love to see the email conversation you pointed to, but it’s not appearing, please send a screenshot of it via this form and mention this forum thread.
Thanks,
AlaaHI @ezekielion
It looks like you have either duplicated rows in this table, or it’s corrupted somehow, please follow this guide to repair this table “CHlu7_wffilemods” as this might fix it.If not, please send us your site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @sbuch32

In reply to: [WP STAGING WordPress Backup Plugin - Migration Backup Restore] HTTP 500Hi @jenaburton
Is that a new staging site you just created or an old one that used to work in the past?
Please send us your live site’s system information (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @hm43,
I’ve reviewed your log files, and it seems your hosting provider may be blocking direct access to the backup file. Let’s continue our discussion via email. I’ll respond to the email you sent with the log files shortly.
Thank you,
AlaaHi @derda123
When exactly did you get this error?
Please ensure your server has plenty of free disk space, and double check with your hosting provider you aren’t hitting the maximum number of files hosted on the server.
Also, share the system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we can help you further from there.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @roni_gabriel
Please check the databast host in the wp-config.php file of staging site and make sure it’s the same as in the wp-config.php file of the live site.If you still can’t resolve this issue, please send us the live site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @wjonesla
Please contact us via this form for any Pro-related questions, as we can only provide support for the free version here on the forums, per the forum rules.
I’ve some questions that you can answer when creating the ticket:
– Are these?(production, staging, and development) sites having different domains/sub-domains/subdirectories?
– Do you plan to push the site from development to staging and then from staging to production? Thanks,
AlaaI already replied to your ticket via email, let’s follow up there @d88pak !
Hi @d88pak
Creating a staging site won’t affect the live site at all.
Did you try to push the staging site back to the live site anyway? Maybe following the manual guide here or any other methods?
Please provide us with all the details you have along with the system information of the staging site from (WP STAGING PRO > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @superbajo
I can’t find the logs files in our system, please send us the logs files again and share with me the new code so I can investigate this issue.
Also, did you try to create a new backup and still have the same issue?
Thanks,
AlaaHi @ernieh
It looks like something changed on your server that made the information in the wp-config.php file on the staging site that connects to the database not valid anymore. Please send us your site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System info) via this form and we will help you further from there.
P.S. in case you can’t access the system information page, please let us know that when filling in the form above.
Thanks,
AlaaHi @dampfmitstil
Please send a screenshot showing what happens when you open the staging site along with the site’s system information from (WP STAGING PRO > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there. Thanks,
