Hi @celinech
This is just a WordPress related notice (not an error) and you can hide it on the staging site by editing this file (on the staging site’s directory) “/wp-config.php” and add this line:define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );
If that doesn’t work, please add these lines instead:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
P.S. If these lines already there, make sure to adjust their values according to what I wrote above, and don’t create duplicates of these lines.Let me know how it goes,
Thanks,
AlaaHi @seehas248
Did you manage to resolve this issue? Do you have a problem to log into the staging site or wp-staging.com website?
Thanks,
Alaa@awaaxyb I’ve replied with the proper solution for this case via the ticket you submitted.
Thanks.
Hello @isabellehatchi
Log into the staging site, then go to (WP STAGING > Settings) and enable the option “Disable admin authorization”, this will allow you to see the staging site while not logged in, that’s what you want, right?Thanks,
Alaa@moonmaker you can delete the whole plugin folder from “/wp-content/plugins/” via FTP, then install the recent version of the plugin again.
Hi Jb!
Since uploading backups to Amazon S3 is a Pro feature, we’re only able to provide support for the free version here in the forums, as per the forum rules. However, we’d be happy to assist you with this issue—please feel free to open a support ticket through this form, and we’ll be glad to help you further.Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to assisting you!
Thanks,
AlaaHi @fricandfracmarketing
I believe this is something related to MalCare security plugin you have installed on your live site. When you first open the staging site from the link in this pop-up box, it will try to log you in directly into the staging site, and the security plugin might block this request by mistake (you can report this to them).Try to load the staging site’s URL in a new tab (copy/paste the staging site’s URL) and it should open normally, and you should be able to log in.
Let me know how it goes,
Thanks,
Alaa@moonmaker you can uninstall the plugin from the plugins page and install it again.
Hi Ari!
We received the ticket you created via this form, I replied, let’s follow up there.Thanks,
AlaaPlease double-check with your hosting provider that you have enough free disk space, and send us the system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form, and we will help you further from there.
Thanks,
Alaa@gtsitsis What did you do? Did you edit the wp-config.php file of the live site and put the staging site’s database info there, trying to migrate the staging site to the live site? Then you deleted the staging site and that of course deleted the tables with the staging prefix you added in the wp-config.php file of the live site?
If that’s the case, then we can’t help much here, please ask your hosting provider if they have a server backup for you.
@gtsitsis that’s okay, please use the form. Deleting the staging site can’t affect the live site at all. We will need to investigate this issue in details.
Hi @nexnexus
I’m glad you managed to get this one sorted out!I wanted to confirm that the staging site is totally separated from the live site, whatever you do on the staging site (even deleting it) can’t affect the live site at all.
Thanks,
Alaa
